Mid-Year Reading Journal Update 2024

While I may be inconsistent with many of my hobbies, my reading journal has never fallen victim to being forgotten. I enjoy adding to it, putting my creativity into producing something fun to fill in but also nice to look at. I love having somewhere to track my reading, and when I consider why IContinue reading “Mid-Year Reading Journal Update 2024”

My 2024 Reading Journal (+Free Bookshelf PDF)

This is the fourth year I’ve been using a reading journal, and once again I’ve kept quite a few of the same pages, but I’ve also added more pages than I’ve ever had before, though I’ve tried to keep most of them very simple. I wanted to fill out more space in my journal and do more to track my reading in a more personalised way.

Mid-Year Reading Journal Update 2023

I still believe my decision to start a reading journal a couple of years ago was one of the best I’ve ever made. Having a reading journal to record my thoughts, track my reading, and provide a little bit of a creative outlet does wonders for my motivation to read. However, I noticed that I only talk about my reading journals when I set them up, rarely providing any further information on how it’s going or how it looks throughout or at the end of the year. So, this year I thought I would change that with a little mid-year update.

10 Reading Goals for 2023

New year, new goals. Or in some cases the same goals with a better plan to reach them! This year, I’ve decided to spell out exactly what I want my year of reading to look like and share it for some accountability, and maybe inspire you to make some goals too. I feel the need to begin by making it clear that I’m not trying to control my reading but prioritise it because I sometimes forget just how much I enjoy reading in all the excitement and stress of everyday life, and just how good it is to quiet my mind.
